Applesauce Pie

Combine all ingredients & mix thoroughly. Pour into unbaked pie shell & bake 25-30 minutes at 350 or until filling doesn't jiggle when the pan is moved. Serve with sweet whipped cream.

Upside-Down Cake

In skillet, combine

Cook until sugar melts and mixture is very hot, thick, and bubbly.

Arrange in skillet, pressing down into the hot syrup

Whip until stiff

Fold yolk mixture into white mixture. Fold in flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into skillet. Bake at 325° for 1/2 hour.

Cooked Cream

Dissolve gelatin in water. Heat most everything else in a large saucepan until almost boiling. Strain into a medium bowl. Add dissolved gelatin and vanilla extract. Pour into 8 half-cup molds. Refrigerate 3 hours. To serve, loosen sides of molds with a knife, place each in simmering water for a couple of seconds, then invert onto a plate. Drizzle each with 1/4 tsp. balsamic vinegar.
